Real Time Day Presenter Guidelines

The purpose of Real Time Day is to gain awareness for the benefits of Real Time. Ultimately, we want to increase the number of agencies asking carriers and vendors for Real Time information, and visiting www.getrealtime.org, so that we can generate:

  • Uptick in inquiry counts
  • Increase in Real Time agency adoption levels.
  • Increase in implementation of real-time capabilities through download of agency-company interface applications.
  • Improved agency decisionmaker awareness for the latest advances in real-time capabilites since they might have last looked.
  • Broader awareness that Real Time is available to most agencies at no additional cost as part of their agency systems.
  • Interest amongst the carriers not providing Real Time and/or Download–let them know that there are resources available to assist with their real time and download offerings

The day itself will be much like an online “telethon” offering opportuntity throughout the day for participants to log-in and see live in-studio interactions and participate in a variety of webinars. The day itself will occur on February 29, 2012 (which, incidently, is Leap Year day). There will be two types of events:

  • Studio “personalities” will start the day with a half hour session at 9:30 AM from the ACORD Studio. They will then repeat the event at 1:00 for those joining us from the west coast.
  • Webinar – carriers, vendors, user groups will prepare a 30 minute to 1 hour webinar which will be promoted on the Real Time Day Calendar.
  • At the ACORD Studio, we’ll record panel discussions for posting on www.getrealtime.org. We’ll also be reviewing twitter feeds throughout the day and working them into the studio events where possible.  Learn more!
